Acres of Adventure is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Acres of Adventure is a friendly, educational environment for people of all viewpoints to assemble and learn about agricultural production in the 21st century. Above all, AOA supports and desires positive discourse between parties of opposing viewpoints and an open dialogue about agriculture.

Acres of Adventure is dedicated to a policy of nondiscrimination and to the provision of equity in its educational programs, services and activities for all individuals.   • Procurement Policy (Adopted March 2018)

In order to ensure that all supplies, equipment, construction, and services are obtained in an open and effective manner, Acres of Adventure will follow a procurement policy. Expenditures above $2500 will be put up for bid. Acres of Adventure will advertise for sealed bids. The board of directors shall review bids and awards shall be made to the bidder whose bid or offer is most advantageous to Acres of Adventure, price, quality and other factors considered. Bids shall not be awarded to companies who have close ties to board members. Business meeting minutes shall include the basis for awarding the bid, justification for lack of competition when competitive bids or offers are not obtained, and the award cost or price.
